Couples Counselling – Paarberatung
If you are in crisis or simply feel you need a neutral and confidential space to reflect on some issues relating to your relationship or marriage, couples counselling can help you to move forward. It’s good to talk.
I consider the way we relate to each other to be vital for our well-being and exploring relationships can be beneficial in moving forward. As John Donne so aptly said many years ago: “No man is an island.” At times it can be difficult to manage relationships by ourselves. Talking to a counsellor can help you think about issues in different ways and then begin to make changes in areas of your relationship that you experience as difficult.
As an integrative counsellor, I am trained to deliver more than one approach to counselling. I use dialogue to be actively involved in the counselling process and provide a reliable framework within which you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Please call or email and leave a message to arrange a date for an initial consultation. I look forward to hearing from you.
Depending on your needs I offer either short-term solution-focused or long-term in-depth counselling to help you to better manage your relationship. The frequency of your sessions can be flexible to suit your individual needs.
I offer individual counselling sessions, which can be helpful in finding out whether you might want to consider couples counselling at this time in your relationship. I also offer this during the couples counselling process if one or both partners might benefit from a one-to-one setting.
Separation and Divorce
When a couple has decided that they want to separate they often enter a difficult and highly stressful emotional process. Couples counselling can help to manage this process by providing support and understanding so that each partner can let go of some of the hurt and resentment they feel and start to rebuild their lives. It is good to talk, even when a couple has decided to go their own ways.
I work by appointment only. I will try to suit your schedule if possible and can offer appointments in the evening and at the weekend. Please call and leave a message with your contact number and a time that suits you to arrange a date for an initial consultation.
If you have to cancel an appointment, please do so within 24 hours before the scheduled session. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will have to be paid in full.
Couples Counselling (up to 90 minutes): 120 Euros
Individual Counselling (50 minutes): 80 Euros
Please pay in cash at the beginning of each session and I will issue a receipt for your payment. My fees include VAT.
All sessions and the data and information related during sessions are entirely confidential.
